I'm working on fixing it, but that won't be in time for next release. Therefore I'm moving it to contrib until I'm done fixing it.

removing bridge & loft functions from the menu. both these features caused blender to crash instantly.
sorry it has bad #comment out everywhere but prevents bad crash. temporary fix to save users
bridge/loft functions may be removed at a later date or reworked for bmesh
